The head stem clamp can fracture causing the handle bar to become unstable.
The hazards to consumers
If the defect occurs this may lead to the handle bar loosening and could cause immediate loss of rider control over the bicycle, posing a serious injury hazard.
What consumers should do
Consumers should stop riding the bicycle immediately and contact their place of purchase to arrange for a replacment head stem clamp.
