Reasons the product is recalled
The fuel lines are not compatible with ethanol fuel (E10). If used, it may deteriorate the fuel lines and contaminate the carburettor fuel float system, allowing fuel to flow unchecked from the tank.
The hazards to consumers
Fuel can leak out whilst not in use, causing a potential fire hazard.
What consumers should do
Check the model and serial number of the machine. If in the affected range, contact the nearest Toro dealer and arrange to have the rework performed, or call Toro Australia on 03 9580 7355.
