Lithium ion batteries supplied with TX6100 radio sold between April 2008 and June 2008. The model number of the battery is TBP-1167LBA. It is rated at 7.4 volts 1700 maH. The battery was only supplied with the TX6100 5 watt UHF radio and is clearly labelled with the brand GME Electrophone.
Note: This recall has been modified. It was earlier entered as a recall of the radio(sold into both the commercial and recreational UHF radio market) because it was thought that there were insufficient stocks of replacement batteries.
