Model number ICO16IG01. The cot was sold exclusively through Kmart stores between March 2007 and December 2008.
Reasons the product is recalled
Some of the slats on the dropside may have weakened over time and in a worse case scenario, this may cause the vertical slats in the dropside to separate creating a safety hazard.
The hazards to consumers
Strangulation.
What consumers should do
Customers are urged to check if their dropside has any loose slats. If so, stop using the cot immediately. Contact IGC Dorel on 1300 809 526 (9.00am to 4.30pm EST) to arrange a replacement dropside to be delivered to you.
