Bicycles were sold in Kmart stores in Australia and New Zealand from August 2000.
Reasons the product is recalled
The bicycles fail to comply with the AS/NZS 1927:1998 Pedal Bicycles - Safety Requirements, in that the front wheel could detach from the fork.
What consumers should do
Consumers should call Hunter Leisure on 1800 632 792 (0800 623 792 in New Zealand) for information on how to have the bicycles inspected or repaired. Alternatively, consumers can return the bicycle to any Kmart store for a full refund.
