Children can potentially bite into and tear off part of the bumper bar.
The hazards to consumers
If children tear off part of the bumper bar this poses a potential choking hazard.
What consumers should do
Consumers should immediately remove and stop using the bumper bar on the 2015 VISTA and 2015 ALTA strollers and the 2015 RumbleSeat. Consumers should visit www.uppababy.com.au and click on the safety alert icon to request a bumper bar sleeve and warning label. Once the bumper bar is received and covered, consumers can resume use of the bar with their stroller or RumbleSeat. UPPAbaby proactively included bumper bar covers with all product sold as of June 2015.
