Caliper repair kit
Reasons the product is recalled
The caliper seal does not meet specification and as a result the caliper will leak brake fluid. If the caliper is not removed from the vehicle the brakes will fail.
The hazards to consumers
If the defect occurs, this poses an accident hazard to the driver and other road users.
What consumers should do
Return all caliper repair kits to the distributor or place of purchase for a replacement set that is correctly sized. These kits should be fitted by a qualified mechanic.
